The Rev. N. G. McCloskey, pastor for the First Methodist Church, officiated. Interment was in Rose Lawn cemetery, Berwick. The Rev. Mr. McCloskey read portions of St. John 14; the Twenty-third Psalm and the poems "There Is a Home for Little Children" and "Just Away." He also read the hymn "I Think When I Read That Sweet Story of Old." Bearers were Frank Gordon, William Gordon, James Gordon and Elmer DeHaven. Flower bearers were James Williams, William Searles, Cletus Wolford and Jack Basci. Kishbaugh, 73, of 1815 Brittain St., Berwick, died in the emergency room at the Berwick Hospital Sunday evening after being stricken at his home. Born in Nescopeck, he was a son of the late Safaras and Ella Swank Kishbaugh. He recently retired from Berwick Industries, where he worked as a security guard. He was a member of the Berwick Christian Church. Surviving are his wife, the former Edna Walburn; and a daughter, Nancy lee [sic] Kishbaugh, at home; step-mother, Lena Kishbaugh, Huntington Mills; and two half-sisters, Patricia Saxe and Nina Saxe, both of Huntington Mills. A son, Dallas R. Kishbaugh, died in 1949. Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. from the Robert N. Hindman Funeral Home, Berwick, with his pastor, the Rev. R. Paige Mathews, officiating. Kishbaugh Longtime employee of Berwick Industries Edna Iola Walburn Kishbaugh, 82, formerly of 1815 Brittain St., Berwick, died at 9:40 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 4, 1998, at the Gethsemane Retirement Community and Rehabilitation Center, where she had been a resident since it opened. She previously lived at the Boone Nursing Home in Eyers Grove since July 1989. Born Jan. 14, 1915, in Berwick, she was a daughter of the late William Henry "Harry" and Mazie Johns Walburn. Kishbaugh worked many years at Berwick Industries until her retirement. She was a member of the Berwick Christian Church. She attended Berwick schools and spent her entire life in the borough. She was the last member of her immediate family. Her husband, Dallas Stanley Kishbaugh, died Oct. 14, 1984; a son, Dallas Raymond Kishbaugh, died on April 23, 1949; and a daughter, Nancy Lee Kishbaugh, died on Jan. 17, 1985. Four sisters also died previously: Grace A. Nash, March 7, 1982; Viola Mae Seitz, April 12, 1995; Alva E. Carter on Aug. 12, 1974; and Florence Elmy. Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Kelchner-McMichael Funeral Home, 119-121 E. Third St., Berwick, with the Rev. Roy E. Row, pastor of the Berwick Christian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Rose Lawn Cemetery, Berwick. END
