Mae E. Rex
Nonagenarian was known as an excellent cook
Mae E. Rex, 90, of 6510 First St., Bloomsburg (Lime Ridge), ended her
journey in this life at 1:45 a.m. Sunday, July 30, 2006, in Balanced Care,
Bloomsburg, near Lightstreet.  Mae was born in Milton, Sept. 15, 1915,
a daughter of the late Marion Fetzer and John Buchman. For many years,
she was employed by M&M Dress Factory.  She embroidered and was noted as
an excellent cook.  She was preceded in death by a grandson, Johnny Rex,
and two brothers and three sisters.  She will be remembered by two children:
Arlene Wohlford and husband Jack, with whom she resided, and Clarence Rex and
wife Marion, Berwick; four grandsons: Frank Zwalkuski and wife Patti, Rick
Zwalkuski, Michael Zwalkuski and Mark Rex; one step-grandson: Jim Wohlford
and wife Sherri; seven great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandsons; five
great-great-grandchildren; two step-great-great-grandchildren; and a sister:
Helen Snyder, Berwick.  She is entrusted to the care of the Heller Funeral
Home, Nescopeck, where services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. with
the Rev. Robert Eddinger, pastor of Ridge Street United Methodist Church,
presiding. She will be laid to rest in Pine Grove Cemetery, Walnut Street,
Berwick. Call 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday.  Expressions of sympathy may be made
to the memorial fund of Ridge Street U.M. Church, 145 Ridge St., Bloomsburg,
PA 17815.
