Kishbaugh In British Unit First Composite Battery Is On Tour; Show British Tactics Sgt. Herbert G. Kishbaugh, son of Mrs. Annie Kishbaugh of Berwick, is now on a coast to coast tour with the 1st Composite British Battery. The unit, in this country as guest of the U.S. War Department and the Anti-aircraft Command, Major Joseph A. Green, commanding, will visit U. S. Army installations to demonstrate British tactics and equipment. Sgt. Kishbaugh, stationed at Camp Davis, N. C., was one of 135 men picked for the assignment as a member of the American Escort Detachment. Kishbaugh Dies Suddenly At 41 Herbert George Kishbaugh, forty-one, died suddenly last night at eight-thirty at his home, 335 West Main street, Mifflinville. Death was attributed to a heart condition. Mr. Kishbaugh had complained of not feeling well on Monday and stayed home from work and visited a doctor. He had not been thought seriously ill. Last night one of his children noticed his breathing was disturbed and informed Mrs. Kishbaugh, who was working in the kitchen. She rushed to his side and death occurred shortly afterward. A veteran of World War II, Mr. Kishbaugh had resided all of his life in this section. He was born in Nescopeck R. D. Mr. Kishbaugh was a member of the First Reformed Church, Berwick. Surviving are his wife, the former Adele Dorothy Danowski; four children, Ronald, Robert, Carol and Carl; all at home; his mother, Mrs. Annie Kishbaugh, Berwick; four brothers, Marvin L., Nescopeck R. D., Rowland W., Berwick; Woodrow W. and Belvin J., Beach Haven; and one sister, Mrs. Ray. E. Larish, Berwick. Kishbaugh, 73, of 107 N. Vine St., Berwick, Evan Owen Memorial Apartments, died early Friday morning at her home. She had been in ill health for two years. Born Sept. 9, 1918, in Luzerne, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Julia Dainowski. Her husband, Herbert George Kishbaugh, died Aug. 31, 1954. A brother, Benjamin, and a sister, Irene Dainowski, also preceded her death. She had attended United Methodist Churches in the Berwick area. Mrs. Kishbaugh was one of the first tenants of the Evan Owen Memorial Apartments, Berwick, and was a charter member of the Evan Owen Social Club. Before living in Berwick, she had lived in Nescopeck and Mifflinville. Surviving are four children: Ronald G. Kishbaugh, Elmira, N.Y.; Robert L. Kishbaugh, Berwick; Mrs. David (Carol J.) Bowen, Frackville; Carl A. Kishbaugh, serving as a missionary in Creteil, France; and six grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters: Mrs. Robert (Joan) Davis, Chattanooga, Tenn.; Mrs. Marvin (Bernice) Weissner, Bloomfield, N.J.; Mrs. John (Leona) Cruiksjank, Wyo.; and a brother, Leon Dainowski, Upper St. Clair, N.J.
