Girton, just before 1 p.m. Friday, July 23, 2004, the Lord took her hand at her home, 61 Sparrow Drive, Berwick. Dawn was born in Mount Pleasant Township, Columbia County, Oct. 3, 1924, to the late Hurley and Bertha Sult Kishbaugh. She graduated from the former Catawissa High School. She later worked at Magee Carpet Co. in the 1960s and at Corner Lunch, Bloomsburg. Until her health failed, she was a caregiver to the elderly in their homes. She enjoyed cooking and reading. She was preceded in death by a brother and sister, William Kishbaugh and Ethel Smith. She will be remembered by her husband of 23 years, Edward; seven children: Stephen D. Roeder, Mifflinville; Larry L. Roeder, Espy; Danny W. Roeder, Berwick; Mary Vought Earnest, Espy; John L. Fox Jr. and Scott A. Fox, both of Bloomsburg; Michael C. Fox, Berwick; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; three sisters: June Fetterman, rural Catawissa; Joy Schlieder, Bloomsburg; Doris Daniels, Catawissa. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Heller Funeral Home, Nescopeck, where services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, with the Rev. Keith Evans, pastor of Berwick Assembly of God Church, officiating. She will be laid to rest in the family plot at New Rosemont Cemetery, Espy. There will be no calling hours. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Columbia-Montout Home Hospice, 599 E.
