Roth Foster L. Roth, a retired cement finisher for the Stecker Construction Co., died yesterday morning at 4:15 o'clock at his home, 93 South Pine Street. He had been in ill health for some time. A life-long resident of this city, the deceased was a son of the late Jacob and Ruth (Henry) Roth. Surviving are his wife, the former Martha A. Berge, and four children: Foster Roth, Jr., and Jean, wife of Donald Waldron, Drums; Louis, wife of Elwood Klase, Lititz; and Joyce, wife of Kenneth Balliet, Somerville, NJ. There are seven grandchildren. One brother, Day Roth, Drums, also survives as well as two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Walters, Milnesville and Mrs. Gertrude Kishbach, this city. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Grebey funeral home with Rev. Allen H. Roth, of Christ Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Laurel Memorial Park. Kishbach Harry L. Kishbach, 648 Grant street, former custodian at the Northeastern Pennsylvania National Bank and Trust Co. building, died at 10:25 yesterday at St. Joseph Hospital following an illness of two weeks. A native of Hazleton, he was a son of the late Alonzo and Susan (Lutz) Kishbach. He was a member of Diamond Methodist Church, the George I. Ash Men's Bible Class of the Church, and the Drake-Wear Post 589, Veterans of Foreign Wars. During World War One he was an Army cook and served with the 78th Prisoners of War Engineer Co. He enlisted on May 25, 1918, and was discharged October 25, 1919. The deceased was a well-known baseball player with the Diamond M.E. Sunbay School team many years ago. Surviving are his wife, the former Gertrude Roth, a son, Gerald, Harrisburg; two grandchildren, Karen and Gerald, two step-sisters, Mrs. Eudilla Sorrels, Highland; and Mrs. Valeria Wagner, Gary-Kay Nursing Home, Dallas. The funeral will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Grebey Funeral Home. Rev. Brian Fetterman, pastor of Diamond Methodist Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Mount Laurel Memorial Park.
