Bond, 90, of Vestal, passed away Saturday, March 29, 2003, at the Willow Point Nursing Home in Vestal. She was born June 2, 1912, in Meshoppen, Pa., the daughter of Mary Ann Keough [sic] and Thomas Kernan. She was predeceased in death by her husband, Clarence, on December 31, 1985. She is survived by a daughter, Jane Bond, Syracuse; a grandson, David Meizlik, Calif.; two sisters, Doris Monske, Elizabeth Church Manor Nursing Home, Binghamton, Ellen Marie Hibbard, Dimock, Pa.; and a brother, James Kernan, Meshoppen, Pa.; a special niece, Linda Prince, and several other nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Vestal, and a retired employee of the Endicott-Johnson Corporation. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, at 9:30 a.m. from Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, Inc., 765 Main St., Vestal, and at 10 a.m., at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, where a funeral Mass will be offered. Burial will be in St. Joachim's Cemetery, Meshoppen, Pa., at the convenience of the family.
