Molowski School cook was active in Berwick sports Ruth Arlene (Kishbaugh) Molowski, 52, of 403 Mercer St., Berwick, died Wednesday afternoon at the Berwick Hospital Center emergency room, after being stricken ill at her home. Born Dec. 3, 1940, in Berwick, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Martha Heddings Kramer Kishbaugh. She was head cook at the Mulberry Street School in Berwick Area School District and also worked at the Orange Street School, Berwick. She had been employed by the Berwick district for more than 13 years. She was a member of the First United Church of Christ, Berwick, and had been involved in various activities of the church. She was 1960 graduate of Berwick High School. Mrs. Molowski was widely known for her cooking and had also done catering for various organizations in the Berwick area. She had been very active with the Berwick School District sports program and was a member of the Berwick football team's "Mom Squad," and had cooked for the Berwick football team for all its away games. She had also been active in the Berwick Little League program, and was a member of the Berwick Athletic Boosters Association ladies auxiliary. She was also a cheerleading advisor for one of the Berwick Midget Football League teams for many years. She was a lifelong resident of Berwick. Mrs. Molowski had also worked under the late Ode Henrie at Columbia County Courthouse as a county assessor for Berwick. She and her husband, Stanley Molowski, celebrated their 32nd wedding anniversary on Nov. 25. Surviving in addition to her husband, are two children: Mrs. David (Melanie Desiree) Dreyer, Batesville, Ind., and Stephen M. Molowski, at home, a student at Wilkes University, Wilkes-Barre; two grandchildren; two brothers: Fred Kramer, Berwick, and James Kramer, Nanticoke; and four sisters: Clara Mattive, Mrs. Michael (Roberta) Blass, Mrs. Mario (Judith) Cerasoli and Mary Jane Swisher, all of Berwick. A brother, Clayton Eugene Kramer, died Oct. 11, 1952. Services will be announced by the Kelchner-McMichael-Hindman Funeral Home, 119-121 E. Third St., Berwick. END
