From the Binghamton Press, Binghamton, New York dated September 3, 2006: BEGIN Susan Rita Kernan Mowry of Binghamton Susan Rita Kernan Mowry, 94, went to her eternal rest on August 31, 2006. She was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Robert B. Mowry; her parents, John and Mary Kernan; sisters, Rose and Eleanor; and brothers, Paul and Gerald. She is survived by four daughters, Elaine and Don Dinola, Clarence, N.Y., Eleanor Gaige, Cuddy, Pa., Mary Jane Kwitnieski, Fairfax, Va., and Kay Telfer, Binghamton. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She retired in 1970 from her work as a Therapy Aide at the Binghamton Psychiatric Center and enjoyed many years in Florida and Northern Virginia before returning to Binghamton in 2002. She loved camping, baseball, especially the Yankees, and babies - she could not pass one without stopping to speak or play. Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life at a Memorial Mass at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Binghamton, 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 18th.
