Blaisure, 76, of RD 4, Montrose, Pa., passed away Thursday afternoon in Montrose General Hospital after an illness. She was born in Fairdale, daughter of the late John and Roxanne Thayne Daly. Survivors: her husband, Martin J. Blaisure, RD 4, Montrose; three daughters, Mrs. Clayton (Gussie) Fritz, Poughkeepsie, N.Y.; Mrs. Francis (Mae) Stachura, Conklin, N.Y.; Mrs. Paul (Betty) Oleniacz, RD 4, Montrose; eight sons, Jack J. Blaisure, Montrose; Martin Blaisure, Jr., Binghamton; Clark E. Blaisure, Joseph A. Blaisure, Carl R. Blaisure, RD 4, Montrose; Frank Blaisure, RD 5, Montrose; Charles E. Blaisure, RD 1, Meshoppen, Pa.; Edward Blaisure, RD 1, Springville; 23 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; two brothers, Frank Daly, Mesa, Ariz.; Edward Daly, RD 5, Montrose; nieces and nephews. Mrs. Blaisure was predeceased by a son, William Blaisure, July 1954. Mrs. Blaisure and her husband owned and operated a dairy farm for 52 years, retiring in 1971. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Robert A. Bartron Funeral Home, 74 Church St., Montrose, Pa. Interment in Fairdale Cemetery. Surviving is his significant other, Mary Lou Warner, sister, Betty Oleniacz, five sisters-in-law, Alma Jean, Alma, Jean, Vera, and Shirley Blaisure, several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by two sisters, Mary Fritz, and Mae Stachura, eight brothers, Jack, Martin Jr., Clark, Bill, Frank, Charles, Teddy and Carl Blaisure. Joe worked at Fanchers Appliances Inc., Vestal, NY, for 54 years and was known as” Joe the Plumber” in the Vestal area. He loved his farm and was always there to help his neighbors.
