John was born on November 29, 1869 in Lindley Township, Union County,
Kentucky and died after 1950 in Elkhart Township, Elkhart County, Indiana.
John married Susan A. Curry on June 28, 1899 in Webster County, Kentucky.
Susan was born in Fenruary of 1874 in Earlington Township, Webster County.
She died on June 11, 1934 in Livingston County, Kentucky and is buried in
Cedar Grove Cemetery, Livingston County.

John was with his brother James Oda Fryar (3.616) in about 1904 when James
was killed.  John was also shot and was crippled for the rest of his life.

       v.     Clara Mable, born 1907 in Livingston County, died July 19,
              1912 in Livingston County.
       vi.    Thomas, born October 4, 1909 in Livingston County, died 1946.
       vii.   Gladis Irene, born June 26, 1912 in Livingston County, died
              May 7, 1988, married ------ Grimes.
       viii.  Eloie Agnes, born July 11, 1914 in Livingston County, 1956.
       ix.    Elva, born June 11, 1915 in Livingston County, married first
              ------ Deboe, married second ------  McElhaney.
       x.     Lillian Dollie, born December 20, 1920 in Livingston County,
              died in September of 1985, married ------ Croft.
