I believe this is my fathers family but the obituary says Myra Hamler and
your information says Mary Hamler [Corrected - MEL].  This Edgar E. Canfield
is the son of the one you list and his brother Andrew Canfield was my
fathers father.  The one you list is my fathers grandfather.

CANFIELD, Edgar E., Jr. of Dover, died Aug. 12 at his home. Born in
Phillipsburg 48 years ago, he was the son of Edgar E. and Myra HAMLER
CANFIELD. Survived by: His wife, his father, a son, Robert, of Dover;
two daughters, Dorothy and Kathleen CANFIELD, at home; a brother, Carl,
of Phillipsburg, and three sisters, Esther and Ina CANFIELD of Newark;
and Mrs.  Lorna TREVORROW of Dover, and one grandson. Funeral: St. John's
Episcopal Church, Dover. Burial: Fairmount Cemetery, Phillipsburg.  NJ Herald,
