RUTH MARGARET GIBBS7, was born 23 March 1913 and died 7 December 1991,
Riverside California. In 1920, she lived with her mother in Hope Township
and attended school (1920 United States Federal Census, Enumeration District
159, Hope Township, Warren County, New Jersey, sheet 1B, 3 January 1920). In
1930, the family lived in Belvidere. Ruth lived with her mother and brother
at 419 Greenwich Street. According to the census,she was still in school in
1930 (1930 United States Federal Census, Enumeration District 21-3, Town of
Belvidere, Warren County, New Jersey, sheet 13B, 15 April 1930). By 1934,
Ruth her mother lived in Cleveland, Tennessee (Blairstown Press, 7 June
1934). Ruth appears to have returned to New Jersey by the late 1930s. Her
social security number was issued in New Jersey before 1951, as was that
of her husband (Social Security Death Index). Ruth married Garrett John
Zwall. He was born 20 October 1910 in New Jersey and died 13 April 1990 in
Riverside, California. His mother's maiden name was Baumfalk. Garrett and
Ruth eventually settled in California. Other members of the Garret Zwall's
family also settled in California. They included Fred Zwall (1905 - 1985)
and his wife Ruth Mae (in San Diego) and Anna Zwall Breman (1898 - 1981)
(California Death Index). Ruth Margaret and Garrett are buried in Eternal
Hills Cemetery, Ocean Side, California (Allen 2001).

Children:

i.   Gary James is the adopted son of Ruth and Gary Zwall (Allen 2001, 2002).
ii.  Lynn is the adopted daughter of Ruth and Gary Zwall. She now goes by
     the name of Adrian Newell (Allen 2001, 2002; Newell 2002).
