All three of them were in Ira Allen's Regiment of Manchester, Vermont. Apparently a large man weighing about 300 to 500 lbs. Played the violin. During the New England Vampire Panic in 1793, at his brother Jacob's blacksmith forge in Manchester, Vermont, Timothy officiated at a public heart-burning ceremony. This was the heart of Captain Burton's dead first wife. A Vampire Demon was supposedly sucking the blood from Captain Burton's second wife and needed to be appeased. In search of better farming conditions, the family travelled from Vermont to Canandaigua, New York in about 1811. Timothy purchased land in Honeye, New York in 1812. Innkeeper, (Owner) of Mead's Hotel in Canandaigua, NY circa 1824. Important meetings with regard to decisions on the building of the Erie Canal were held here. Hotel was run by Amos, his son, probably because Timothy's obesity disabled him. When Amos left in 1824 to pursue his Michigan land grant, the Hotel was sold. His brother Samuel also left for Michigan at that time. It is an educated guess that Timothy & wife then went to live with one of their other children who stayed in New York.
