To have and to hold the said lott or parcel of land and primises situated and bounded as above expressed with the appurtenancies to the only proper use, benefit and behoof of him the said Thomas Lake his heirs and assigns forever and also all the estate, right, title, intrest, property claim challenge and demand of them the said parties of the first part their heirs or any person or persons claiming by from or under them or any of them and further the said parties of the first do hereby covenant and agree with the said party of of the second part, each of the said parties of the first part for himself therself and their heirs doth covenant as aforesaid that they have not done or suffered to be done any act or deed so as to incumber said lott or parcel of land aforesaid, but that the same is as full, free, clear and entive vested in the aforesaid Thomas Lake his heirs and assigns party of the second part as ever it was vested in the said parties of the first part their heirs and assigns or either of them and each party for himself and herself as tenants in common and not as joint tenants. And the said Ann Shepherd in a private examination by me seperate and apart from her husband did further acknowledge that she executed the same freely as above expressed without any fear threats or compulsion from her husband. And the said Sarah Godown, Lydia Lake, Ann Lake and Elizabeth Sergent on a further examination seperate and apart from each of their husbands did further acknowledge they and each of them had signed sealed and delivered the same as above expressed without any fear, threats or compulsion from their said husbands.
