From the Hunterdon Gazette, Flemington, New Jersey dated December 9, 1840:

BEGIN

Executors' Sale of Real Estate
Pursuant to the Last Will and Testament of Joseph Hawk, dec'd, late of the
township of Alexandria, Hunterdon county, will be sold at Public Sale, on
Thursday the 31st of December inst. at 1 o'clock, P. M. on the premises,
in the township aforesaid, a Valuable Farm, containing about 70 acres of
land, a good proportion of which is meadow and first rate timber land; the
remainder arable land in a high state of cultivation.  The improvements are
a comfortable dwelling house, large frame barn and hovel, two wagon-houses,
and other out-buildings; a never failing spring of water near the house;
apple orchard and other fruit trees.  This farm is divided into fields of
convenient size with good fences; and is all in fine order.
  For a view of the premises call upon Robert Kitchen, living thereon.

aged 82 years, 1 month and 25 days.

In Asbury, Warren county, Jan. 30, Charles Robins, aged 89 years, 1 month
and 18 days.

The above aged couple were born in the township of Alexandria, Hunterdon
county, and lived together as husband and wife for more than sixty years.
