Co., dec'd, to Paul Cool. Dated 22 Sept. 1828. (242) Power of attorney to Philip Cool from Jacob Cook of Columbriana Co., Ohio, and Elizabeth, his wife, who is a daughter and heir of Jacob Cool, dec'd, who was a son of Paul Cool Sr. and brother of Paul Cool, Jr. of Ht. Co., Dated 22 Sept. 1828. The witnesses in Ohio, Luther and Samuel Colvin, said they had been acquainted with Jacob Cool and Elizabeth Cook, wife of Jacob Cook, late Elizabeth Cool, all of Columbriana Co., Ohio...that they are children of Jacob Cool Sr., late of Hampshire Co., VA, dec'd, who was a son and heir of Philip Cool, late of Hampshire Co., aforesaid, who "as they are informed and believe was son and heir at law of Paul Kuhl, late of Ht. Co., NJ, dec'd"...and also that they were acquainted with Jane McBride, daughter of Charlotte McBride, dec'd, who was a daughter of the aforesaid Jacob Cool, Sr., dec'd and that "they, the sd. Jacob Cool, Elizabeth Cook, and Jane McBride, are the only surviving heirs of the sd. Jacob Cool, Sr., dec'd".
