according to Vickie Beard Thompson . Peter died in April of 1842. Deborah was born in about 1770 in Warfordsburg, Fulton County, Pennsylvania. Peter served in the Revolutionary War, as a private and ranger in a Company of Light Horse under Captain Peter Rush. Pension #3612. On the August 21, 1795, his brothers and sisters deeded him half of his fathers land (111 1/2 acres) called "Clover Field" situated on White Oak Run 1/2 mile above where it empties into Tonolway Creek. Ten days later he sold the land and moved to Jefferson County, Kentucky on Floyd's Fork near Fairmont. In 1801 he moved across the county to Wilsonville on Plum Creek in Shelby County (now Spencer County) Kentucky. In 1817 he and his family moved to Vernon, Washington, Indiana. They remained in Indiana until 1830 when they returned to Kentucky and settled again in Fairmont where they both died. They were early members of the Chenoweth Run Baptist Church which was disolved in 1832. On May 19, 1832 Deborah was one of the founding members of the new Cedar Creek Baptist Church and Peter joined July 14, 1832. On August 31, 1795 Peter Fisher and his wife Deborah of Bethel Township, Bedford County sold 111 1/2 acres to Peter Smith, Sr. of the same place for 300 pounds. Containing 111 1/2 acres the tract, named Clover Field, adjoined Peter Smith, John Fisher and James McKinney. Peter and Deborah acknowledged the deed before Andrew Mann on the same day.
