Henry Kitchen b. ca 1727, son of Henry Kitchen and Ann Wheeler, was married to Jane Robins. Jane was the daughter of John Robins Sr. b. 24 Feb 1698 and Elener "Eleanor" Abbott. Her brother, Daniel, is the one in our hypothetical lineage to the Rob(b)ins family of Laura Robins Wade and myself. It is these Kitchens that are connected into our family history as well. I mentioned them in my last posting. Judith Buck-Glenn, a Group member, also is connected to these Kitchen's. Could Jean be the above wife, Jane? Just wondering. Perhaps there is more information out there than the skimpy information I have now. According to the Woodbridge NJ Vital Records John Robins was born on Feb. 24, 1695 not 1698. I believe John Robins was probably born on Feb. 24, 1696 because the Woodbridge Vital Records gives his brother Jonathan's birthdate as December 23, 1694. It would have been impossible for their mother to have had a child in Dec of 1694 & another on Feb. 1695. They were using the Old Style Calendar at the time of his birth so the years 1694 for Jonathan & 1695 for John would be corrrect. I was thinking in terms of our present day calendar. Woodbridge Vital Records are correct. END
