She may have been his 2d wife. They settled at Timber Creek adjoining “White Horse Farm,” Greenwich, Gloucester Co., N.J. They attended Upper Greenwich Meeting, but were not members of the Society of Friends. He died intestate. Letters of Administration were granted Aug. 8, 1783, to Mary Langstaff. Children - (i) Deborah, d. aged 25 (ii) John, (1.in infancy (iii) Susannah, m. John Warrington, son of Thomas and Mary (Roberts) Warrington. She was his 2d wife, his 1st wife being Mary Fisher, dau. of William Fisher. (iv) James, in. Elizabeth Stratton, dau. of Joshua and Elizabeth (Branin) Stratton (v) Samuel, m. 1st Amy Cozens, and 2d, Hannah Pine, dau. of Benjamin and Priscilla Pine (vi) Amos, d. aged 18 (vii), Malachi, d. unmarried (viii) William, d. aged 10 (ix) Thomas, m.
