    Howard Barnhart
    Howard P. Barnhart died in the Fulton County Medical Center on Saturday
    night. May 2, 1959, of heart condition.  He was born on March 20, 1870,
    in Belfast township, the son of Otho and Lucinda (Mann) Barnhart. He
    was a member of the Tonoloway Primitive baptist Church. On September
    20, 1905 he was married the former Marietta Breakall and the couple
    farmed at Plum Run.  Surviving are his widow and these children:
    Mrs. Ida Belle Wills, Mrs Cora Smith and Mrs. Alma Fisher of Hancock,
    Mrs. Margaret Barnhart of Sykesville; Md., Milton Barnhart of Berkeley
    Springs and Eugene Barnhart of Hancock; one brother, Ira Barnhart
    of Big Cove Tannery. 34 grandchildren, and 24 great grandchildren.
    Funeral services were held on Wednesday at 2:00 P. M. from the Tonoloway
    Baptist Church, the Rev. Michael Hoist officiating. Interment was made
    in the adjoining cemetery.
