Funeral Dirctor Warren, Indiana:

19 May 1897 Cloth Casket for C. N. Irwin's wife, age 72 yrs, born Stokes
Co., NC. Died 17th, buried 19th. I drove the hearse myself to the house,
4 miles east of Warren. I was assisted at the house by Ruth Chopson, Cyntha
Parker, Mrs. Jacob Hoover & Mrs. David Elliott. After the family viewed
the remains at the home, her two son's, 2 brother's-in-law & 2 cousin's
were pallbearers. We went to the N. E. Church for the funeral conducted by
Rev. Suman, then to the Woodlawn Cemetery for burial. The grave was lined
with muslin & dug by T. Slater. I.F.B.
