Grace L. Birdsall
Easley

Grace Lake Birdsall, 92, of 108-C Pinnacle Lane, formerly of Heathwood
Place, died Thursday, March 11, 2004, at Palmetto Health Baptist, Easley.
She was born in High Bridge, N.J., and was the daughter of the late John
and Eglantine Henderson Lake.  Mrs. Birdsall was a retired educator after
40 years of service with several schools in New Jersey. She was a member of
High Bridge United Methodist Church in High Bridge, N.J., a member of the
National Educational Association, New Jersey Retired Teachers Association
and the United Methodist Women.  Surviving are a daughter, Barbara Joan
Blessing and her husband, Bob, of Easley; a granddaughter, Patti Garrett
and her husband, Chris; three grandsons, Jay Blessing and his wife,
Tracy, Wayne Blessing and his wife, Patricia, and Timothy Blessing; and a
great-grandson, Joshua Blessing.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Birdsall
was predeceased by her husband, Warren Guy Birdsall; six brothers; and
five sisters.  Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 15, 2004,
at 11:30 a.m. in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home, Powdersville Road,
with burial to follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive
friends prior to the service on Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Palmetto Health Baptist
Foundation, P.O. Box 1988, Easley, SC 29641.  Robinson Funeral Home, 1425
Powdersville Road, Easley, SC 29642, is assiting the family with arrangements.
