Mrs. Elizabeth Slusser, aged 84 yrs., passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Wallace Kishbaugh, at Nescopeck R. D. 1, at noon yesterday, following an illness of several months. Death was due to a complication of diseases. Her husband, George Slusser, preceded her to the grave several years ago. The following children survive: Ellswirth Slusser, of Berwick; Mason Slusser, of Nescopeck, R. D.; Wallace Slusser, of Bloomsburg; Mrs. E. W. Kishbaugh, of Nescopeck, R. D.; Richard Slusser and John Slusser, of Bloomsburg; Mrs. Clarence Martz, of Orangeville. Thirty-three grand children and forty great grand children also survive as does one sister, residing at Hazleton. Funeral services will be held at the home of the daughter, Mrs. E. W. Kishbaugh, of Nescopeck, R. D., at two o'clock on Monday afternoon and will be in charge of Rev. W. C. Beck, pastor of the Nescopeck Reformed Church. Interment will be made in the Sloyerville cemetery. Lunch was served to the following: Mr. and Mrs. George Kishbaugh and daughter, Georgia Mae, Mrs. Owen Shotts, of Royersford, Pa.; Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Houpt, Daisy Ellen, James, Donald and George Houpt, of Corning, N. Y.; Mr. and Mrs. Harry Kishbaugh and son Wilbur, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bower, Madeline, Frederick, Betty and Leona Bower, Mr. and Mrs. Sterling Kishbaugh, Sterling, Jr., Harry, Edward, Marlene, Evelyn and Beatrice Kishbaugh, Gilbert Young, Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Kishbaugh, Miller Probst, all of Nescopeck; Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Probst and son Howard, of Wapwallopen; Mr. and Mrs. Blair Foust, and daughter Anna, of Shamokin, visited Mrs. Daisy Kishbaugh, on Sunday. D. 1, died yesterday at 9 o'clock, on his 71st birthday. He had been in ill health for a year and bedfast for six months. Mr. Kishbaugh had farmed throughout his life. He was a member of the Mount Zion Reformed Church. Surviving are his wife, Daisy, and the following children: Sterling Kishbaugh, Nescopeck R. D.; George, Royersford; Mrs. Ann Bower, Nescopeck R. D.; Harry Kishbaugh, Nescopeck R.D.; Mrs. Leonard Houpt, Corning, N.Y. There are 18 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The body was removed to Kelchner Funeral Home and will be returned to the late home today for services that will be held Monday at 10 a.m. Brief services at the home will be followed by services in Mount Zion Reformed Church. The Rev. D. H. Nace will officiate. Burial will be in the Mount Zion cemetery. END transcription of Newspapers->Deaths->5.242.jpg From The Morning Press, Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania dated April 1, 1965: BEGIN Mrs. Daisy Kishbaugh Of Nescopeck RD Dies Mrs. Daisy Kishbaugh, 84, Nescopeck R.D. 1, died in Pottstown Memorial Hospital yesterday at 8 a.m., where she had been a patient for one week. She was visiting her son, George, at Royersford, when she became ill. Her husband, Elmer Kishbaugh, died about 21 years ago. She was the former Daisy Slusser, daughter of Elizabeth and George Slusser and lived all her life in this area. She was a member of Briggsville United Church of Christ and the Bloomsburg Chapter of the Daughters of America. She is survived by her children: Sterling Kishbaugh, Nescopeck R.D. 1; George, of Royersford; Harry, Nescopeck R.D.; Mrs. Fred Bower, with who she resided, Nescopeck R.D. 1, and Mrs. Lynn Houpt, Corning, N.Y. Also surviving are 18 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services under the direction of the Heller Funeral Home, Nescopeck, will be held Saturday afternoon at two o'clock from Mt. Zion Church of Christ, Briggsville, with Rev. Richard Seigfried officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion cemetery, Briggsville. END
