Funeral services for Roland DeWitt Reed, 92, of Sebring, who died Friday
at home, will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Morris Funeral Chapel, 307
S. Commerce Ave., Sebring, followed by burial in Florida National Cemetery,
Bushnell. Born in Hamilton Square, Mr. Reed retired in 1965 from NJ Bell
Telephone Co. He was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II; a former pilot
and amateur radio operator using the call letter K4XX; and a life member of
Radio Relay League and Institute of Electric and Electronic Engineers. He
is survived by a nephew, Linton Reed of Trenton. Memorial contributions
may be made to the Salvation Army.
