After she married she lived in Lebanon, NJ. She later moved to Plainfield, NJ. Children: Witfleld, Mary, Savilia, Annie, Maggie, Nellie, Julia, Olie, Mercy and Harry. Jacob Foose, her husband, was recruited into Company K., 15th. NJ, Vol. Infantry Reg. on September 3, 1864. The Fighting Fifteenth was present at General Robert E. Lee's surrender at Appomattox. Nellie Edith Foose Housel (1862-1934), their daughter, married John W. Housel. His father, Pvt. Moses G. Housel, Company A, 15th. NJ Vol. Infantry Reg., was captured at Spotsylvania on May 18, 1864 and was a prisoner at Andersonville Prison in Georgia. He survived and was released in a prisoner exchange and was paroled at Savannah, GA 12/01/1864.
