MRS. ELIZABETH CRANSTON

Word has been received by Charles Pierson of the death of his sister,
Mrs. Elizabeth Cranston, of Port Republic, Virginia, which occurred Wednesday,
May 23.

She was born in 1853 on the farm of her father, the late Jedidiah D. Pierson,
on the Packwood Road, now occupied by Charles Pierson and Family, where
she spent most of her life.

Mrs. Cranston spent a year in this vicinity about three years ago visiting
friends and relatives.

She is survived besides her brother, by a daughter, Miss Carrie Cranston
of New York City.
