The record of all the children of Amos Quick (G317), is taken from the Amos Quick Bible, owned by Mrs. George Alvater of Pittstown, Hunterdon County and the data of the children of Mary Jane Quick (H294), is furnished by George Case, a farmer and descendant, living near Flemington. Newberry Quick (H291) was a soldier of the Civil War. At close of the war he went to Illinois and accumulated a fair fortune. The above data, including that of his nine chil., is taken from the Amos Quick Bible, owned by his granddaughter, Mrs. George Alvator, of Pittstown, N. J. Amos lived in Pittstown, Hunterdon Co., N. J., and operated the old stone grist mill, at least from 1879 to 1884 (Deats) [H291-300]. END
