Kishpaugh, of 38 Water street, were conducted Monday afternoon at the Smith Funeral Home, 63 High street, by the Rev. Allen Davis, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Newton. Interment was in Newton Cemetery. Mr. Kishpaugh died Friday at his home after a long illness. Born in Newton 87 years ago, he had lived in this area most of his life. He had been an employee of the old Merriam Shoe Company. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ruth Kishpaugh; five daughters, Mrs. Grace Day, of Fredon; Mrs. Marjorie McCollum, of Newton; Mrs. Doris Conklin, of Sussex; Mrs. Paul [sic] McEntire [sic], of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Mrs. Edna Munch [sic], of Springfield, Mass.; a brother, Hez Kishpaugh, of Johnson City, N.Y., and a sister, Mrs. George Keepers, of Newton. He also leaves 20 grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Born in Swartswood, she lived most of her life in Newton. She is the widow of Edward Kishpaugh. She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Grace Smith and Mrs. Marjorie McCollum of Newton, Mrs. Doris Conklin of Hamburg, Mrs. Pauline McIntyre of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Mrs. Edna Minnich of Liverpool, N.Y.; a brother, William Lemmons of Glen Gardner; a sister, Grace Kinney of Branchville; 17 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 12:30 p.m. at the Smith-McCracken Funeral Home, 63 High St., Newton, with the Rev. Allan Davis of the Newton Baptist Church presiding.
