transcription of Newspapers->Deaths->5.261.jpg From The Morning Press, Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania dated April 3, 1950: BEGIN Mrs. Ellen Kishbaugh Dies at Hobbie Home Mrs. Ellen Isabella Kishbaugh, 56, died Saturday morning at 8:45 o'clock at her home in Hobbie. She suffered a stroke five and a half years ago and had been an invalid since that time. She was bedfast for the past year following an injury to her foot. Mrs. Kishbaugh died in the home in which she was born, May 11, 1893, and had resided in Hobbie for the past four years. She also resided in Salem Township. The area resident was a member of Lady Hobbie Rebecca Lodge. Survivors include her husband, Sofaros, and two children, Dallas, of Berwick, and Ray, of Beach Haven. Four grandchildren also survive together with a brother, Elmer Swank, of Bloomsburg; a sister, Mrs. Ray DeHaven, of Berwick; two step-sisters, Mrs. Walter Garrison, Shickshinny, and Mrs. Roland Michael, Bloomsburg R. D. 5, and a step-brother, Beach Hoffman, of Hobbie. Services will be held from the Longenberger Home for Funerals, Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock, with the Rev. A. Birdsall, pastor of the Shickshinny Protestant Church, officiating. END
