Kishbaugh, 69, of Berwick R.D. 3, died Saturday at 11:05 p.m. at the Geisinger Medical Center. Born in Berwick on May 23, 1907, he was a son of the late Joseph E. and Annie Eliza Lynn Kishbaugh. He was married to the former Viola Lillian Carrathers on March 5, 1926. A son, Joseph, preceded him in death in 1971. A welder in the door shop at ACF Industries Inc., he retired in 1962. Since 1964 he had operated the Kishbaugh Radiator Shop at his home. He was a member of the Summerhill United Methodist Church and the Berwick Moose. Surviving in addition to his wife are one daughter, Mrs. Delbert (Lillian Mae) Moyer, Nescopeck R.D. 1; one son, Donald L. Jr., of Berwick R.D. 3; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Services will be held Tuesday morning at 10:30 from the Robert N. Hindman Funeral Home, Berwick, with Rev. Lester W. Zehner, his pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Walnut street, Berwick. Kishbaugh Seamstress enjoyed crocheting and baking Viola Lillian (Carrathers) Kishbaugh, 93, died 8:37 a.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2001, at Orangeville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, where she had resided since 1996. She was formerly of rural Berwick. Born Feb. 26, 1908, in Briar Creek Township, she was a daughter of the late John Albert and Mary Elizabeth (Lechleitner) Carrathers. She was educated in Berwick schools. On March 15, 1925, she was married to Donald Leroy Kishbaugh. His death on July 31, 1976 ended a marital span of 51 years. In her earlier years, Kishbaugh had been employed at Colonial Silk Mill, Duplan Mill and the Dockey Shirt Factory. Kishbaugh was a member of the Summer Hill Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday school and sang in the choir for many years. A seamstress, she was also known for her baking. Kishbaugh crocheted many lap robes and donated them to the church and to Danville State Hospital. In addition to her husband, the following family members also died previously: a son, Joseph, in 1971; a sister, Alice Curland Lane, on Jan. 19, 1922; two brothers: Delmar and William Carrathers; and a great-granddaughter, in 1993. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Delbert (Lillian Mae Kishbaugh) Moyer, Nescopeck R.R.1; a son, Donald Leroy Kishbaugh, Berwick; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Joseph W. Nardi Funeral Home, 201 W. Second St., Berwick, with the Rev. David Diehl, Hospice chaplain and pastor of Hamline Church Fellowship, Stillwater, officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Walnut Street, Berwick. END
