Kishbaugh, seventy-six, 1137 Susquehanna avenue, Berwic, [sic] died at Geisinger Medical Center while under anisthetics in the operating room at 4:14 p.m. yesterday. He was born in Wanamie son of the late Daniel and Clara Raseley [sic] Kishbaugh. For the past sixty-five years he had been a resident of Berwick. He was a veteran of World War I and was formerly employed by the ACF in Berwick, retiring about ten years ago. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Berwick and the Berwick American Legion. Surviving are his widow, Edna M.; two daughters, Mrs. LeRoy Johnston and Mrs. Patrick Duffy, Bristol, N. Y.; two step daughters, Mrs. Richard Roosa and Mrs. Harvey Green, Endicotte, [sic] N. Y.; two step sons, Leland Hidlay, Huntington Mills; a brother, Robert Kishbaugh, Berwick, and a sister, Mrs. Ralph Smith, Berwick. There are fourteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held Monday morning at ten-thirty from the Fabian Funeral Chapel in Berwick with Rev. Phillip D. Lister, pastor of First Baptist Church officiating. Lyons Kishbaugh, 93, formerly of 1137 Susquehanna Ave., Berwick, died Thursday morning, April 29, 1999, at the Berwick Hospital Center, where she had been a patient since Monday. A resident of the Berwick Retirement Village II for the past four years, she had lived in Berwick for most of her life. Born Jan. 18, 1906, in Madison Township, Columbia County, she was a daughter of the late Hurley and Minnie Greenly Lyons. Kishbaugh had been employed as a cook at the old Berwick Hospital. She later worked at Busy Bee Cleaners, Berwick, for several years. She had also done domestic work in the Berwick area, retiring around 1988. Kishbaugh was a member of the First Baptist Church of Berwick. An animal lover, her hobbies included gardening. Three husbands died previously: George Hidlay in June 1938, Alvin Croman in 1955 and Walter Kishbaugh in 1966. Other family members who died previously are a son, Leland Glen Hidlay Sr., on Sept. 28, 1993; a grandson, on May 12, 1968; and four brothers: Joseph, Boyd, Harry and Grant Lyons. She is survived by a son, Robert W. Hidlay, Berwick R.R.4; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Delbert (Edith) English, Buckhorn. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Kelchner-McMichael Funeral Home, 119-121 E. Third St., Berwick, with the Rev. Craig W. Martin, her pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Walnut Street, Berwick. END
