From the Belivere Apollo, Belvidere, New Jersey dated September 8, 1899:

BEGIN

  On Tuesday the 29th ult., our community was severely pained to hear of the
death of Josiah Linaberry who has resided here since April.  Mr. Linaberry
has been afflicted for about a year with a complication of diseases, and
at times has suffered most excruciating agony, which he has borne with
marked fortitude.  Although somewhat of a stranger to this neighborhood,
yet he was known as a man who made a host of friends in any community in
which he went.  He was sixty-three years of age.  He has passed to that
happy home to which he so long desired to go.
