transcription of Newspapers->Deaths->5.428-2.jpg From a local newspaper dated May 10, 1956: BEGIN Mrs. Floyd Kishpaugh Newton - Services were held Tuesday for Mrs. Carrie Kishpaugh, wife of Floyd Kishpaugh, of 43 Railroad avenue, who died last Saturday in Newton Memorial Hospital of a heart ailment. Born in Hackettstown 79 years ago, she had lived here most of her life. Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Sarah Babcock, of Sloatsburg, N. Y.; a brother, Abraham Miller, of Berkshire Valley; a sister, Mrs. Nora Dougherty, of Rockaway, and five grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at the Smith Funeral Hime [sic] 63 High street, by the Rev. Cloyd Osborne, pastor of the first Methodist Church. Interment was in Baleville Cemetery. Kishpaugh, formerly of 43 Railroad Avenue, died yesterday (Saturday) at The Homestead after a long illness. He was 89 and had lived in Sussex County most of his life. He was a retired shoe-laster. Surviving are two sisters, Miss Grace Kishpaugh and Mrs. Olive Brooks, both of Newton. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. tomorrow (Monday) from the Smith Funeral Home, 63 High Street, with the Rev. E. T. Holland, pastor of the Newton Methodist Church, officiating.
