From the Sussex Independent, Newton, New Jersey dated June 30, 1922: BEGIN Clarence Wesley Dobbins, forty-three years old, died Sunday at his home in Newton, after an illness of four months, during which both his legs were amputated. He is survived by his wife and four daughters. Funeral services were held at the home at 2:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon conducted by Rev. J. F. Maachman and the Red Men's Lodge. Interment was made in Newton Cemetery. END From the New Jersey Herald, Newton, New Jersey dated May 18, 1939: BEGIN Newton - Mrs. Grace Dobbins, fifty-nine, widow of Clarence Dobbins, of Woodside Avenue, died in Newton Hospital Monday night after a long illness. Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at her late home. Rev. Warren P. Sheen officiated. Burial was in Newton Cemetery. Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Edna Kice, of Newton; Mrs. Dorothy Garris, of Frankford township, and Mrs. Hazel Maxwell, of Clearwater, Fla. END
