Bluffton, Indiana - Bluffton Chronicle Wednesday, June 21, 1916 - P3C5 Aged Warren Woman Dead Warren, Ind., June 16-Mrs. Cynthia Crum, one of Warren's oldest residents, died Saturday afternoon at the old home on Wayne Street. Several months ago Mrs. Crum fell, breaking her hip, from which injury she never recovered. She was a life member of the Methodist Episcopal church and was a faithful attendant until her misfortune rendered it impossible for her to attend the services. She is survived by three daughters, Mesdames Emma Boyer of Kokomo, Mars Belle Finkle and Mrs. Lora Minnich of Warren, and one son, George O. Crum, of Montpelier. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Methodist church, Rev. G. B. Work officiating. Burial in Woodlawn cemetery. Bluffton, Indiana - Bluffton Evening News Friday, February 04, 1921 - P1C5 Mrs. Belle Finkle Buried At Warren Well Known Warren Woman Died At Home Of Sister At Kokomo Mrs. Belle Finkle, life-long resident of Warren, died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Harry Goyer of Kokomo on February 1st following an attack of paralysis. She suffered a severe stroke about a year ago while at her home in Warren and following that attack she was taken to her sister's home and since that time she has been with her sister who took care of her. The remains were brought to Warren for burial and lay at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Minnich until Thursday morning when the funeral services were held in charge of Rev. R. V. Johnson. Burial was in the Mitchell cemetery. She was a daughter of Jacob and Cynthia Crum, and was born April 1, 1961 [sic 1861]. She was married to John Finkle March 17, 1887.
