BEGIN Charles Ezekiel Fuller Birth: Jul. 12, 1841 Bridgewater Township Susquehanna County Pennsylvania, USA Death: May 20, 1915 Meshoppen Wyoming County Pennsylvania, USA From the Independent Republican, Montrose, Pa., Friday May 28, 1915: Mentally Despondent Auburn and Meshoppen Men End Their Lives Charles Fuller a highly respected resident of Meshoppen while mentally unbalanced by ill health ended his life by hanging himself on Thursday afternoon of last week. The sad news came as a great shock to many of fir ends in Wyoming and Susquehanna counties where he was widely know and beloved. The funeral was held at his late home on Tuesday afternoon 1 o'clock, Rev NW. R. Siang officiating, assisted by Rev D. M. Corkwell who officiated at the grave in Jersey Hill cemetery. Mr. Fuller was born in Bridgewater township this county nearly 74 years ago. The greater part of his life was spent in West Auburn where he married Miss Retta Raub and where they centered a family around children. For the past eleven years he and his wife have lived in Meshoppen. He was a veteran of the Civil War. Serving in Co. C 203rd Pa Vol. He was the first master of the West Auburn Grange and a loyal member of the West Auburn Methodist Episcopal Church where he retained his membership, although a regular attendant of the church of his faith in Meshoppen. No man in that vicinity was more highly honored than he was by all who knew him, and there is unaffected grief at his departure. Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons: Frank E., late district judge of Alaska; Arthur J. of Tunkhannock and Frank R. of Auburn and one brother and one niece - Joshua O. Fuller of Laceyville and L. D. Biles of Camptown.
