Son of Jacob Calvin Rice (1841-1931) and Mary Ann Gage (1846-1884).

WILLIAM I. RICE, 88. of 65 Grow Avenue, Montrose, died at 1 p.m. yesterday
at his home. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Helen Hart of Montrose;
two sons, Earl Rice of Kingston, Pa. and Arthur (Pete) Rice of Binghamton;
two half-brothers, George Rice of Binghamton and Ward Rice of Nichols; five
half sisters, Mrs. Lucy Hill, Mrs. Irene Ellsworth, Mrs. Florence Kellam,
Mrs. Eva Carman, all of Binghamton, and Mrs. Hazel Fargo of Norwich; seven
grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. The body was removed to the
Bowen Funeral Home, Montrose, here. friends may call tomorrow from 2 to 4
and 7 to 9 p. m. 14 BINGHAMTON PRESS Sat., Oct. 4, 1958 (obituary provided
