Jessie Kishpaugh was born 4 Sept 1856 at Starkey, Yates Co. NY, married
Merlin Wescott 4 Sept 1877 and she died 22 Nov 1931 at Valois, NY.
Merlin farmed and they had a lovely home and fruit farm on the east side
of Senaca Lake.  Aunt Jessie was a beautiful woman and Merlin was an
old grouch.  I remember going to the auction at their place after Aunt
Jessie died.  It was so sad to see people pawing over her lovely things.
I would have been eight years old.  When I was north in 1994 I went down
the lake by where they lived and the house was falling down.  A shame
because it was full of beautiful woodwork.

Jessie & Merlin had a daughter Nina who married a Stout.  They had 3
son's who were a little older than I.  As far as I know they stayed in
the vicinity of Valoise and Lodi, NY.
