Mr. Samuel Hendershot, resident of Buck Valley, this county, was born on
April 13, 1860 and died on January 1, 1942, at the age of 82 years, 1 months
and 18 days.  Surviving him are six daughters and one son, twenty-eight
grandchildren and twenty-eight great grandchildren.  Funeral services were
held on Monday January 4 at 11 A.M. from the home of Joseph Hendershot,
followed by services in the Methodist church under the direction of
Rev. T. P. Garland. Interment was made in the Hendershot cemetery.
