From: Willie Meaden [wlm04@oregoncoast.com] Sent: Thursday, May 19, 2005 7:57 PM Tom, I hope you don't mind if I jump in here. I have a David Robbins b. Aug 1770, d. 4 July 1831 and is buried at Old Episcopal Burying Ground, Allentown, Monmouth Co., New Jersey. He married Sarah Miller, b. 19 Feb 1777 and d. 4 May 1850. This David Robbins was the son of Daniel Robbins (Aaron, Daniel Sr.) and Sarah Leonard. My sources for this information were "Genealogical and Personal Memorial of Mercer Co., New Jersey Vol 1" and Diane Babcock, a Miller family researcher. The Personal Memorial is available at Genealogy.com through a subscription to their genealogy library if you can't find it anywhere else. Hope this helps. Wilma From: tomRobbins@comcast.net Sent: Thursday, May 19, 2005 8:22 PM Wilma, Do you know if this David had any children? According to Mark Moffa's article "A Look inside the Robbins House" (Princeton Packet online news, July 26, 2001), he writes that David Robbins bought the land that was owned by Moses Robbins in 1818. This could fit your David. Age would be 48 however, but he could be our guy. David had a son Elisha who had a son Milnor. Not sure if Milnor is related to Dr. Lester Robbins, who owned the house last, and is still living. I'll see if I can contact him for any additional information. David was buried in the old Episcopal ground at Allentown, NJ. Lee's G&P Memorial of Mercer Co. errs in giving Davids death as 4 Jul 1631, aged sixty years and eleven months. Daniel, the father, was the son of Aaron Robins 1683-1759, son of Daniel & Hope. What is the source for Elisha, son of David? There was an Elisha, brother of David, again per Lee. The IGI lists an Elisha, b.ca.1816, marr. to Ann ____. Who might he belong to?
