 Would you be willing to share your research or compare notes with me
regarding the marriage of George Caruthers to Lydia Robins d/o Richard Robins,
Sr. & his 2nd wife Catherine Holmes Bacon? Traditionally, researchers say
she married James Caruthers. Cumberland Co. historian Charles E. Sheppard
says her husband was James Caruthers. I noticed you said when you joined
the group you were a descendant of Lydia & George Caruthers. My research
indicates Lydia married George Caruthers not James. I'm interested in
learning more from a George & Lydia descendant.
