Myers (0.307) in 2005: BEGIN Johannes Kishpaugh, the son of Johan Jost and Anna Elizabeth Geirsbach [sic] must've died in 1835 as his inventory was taken September 12, 1835 and is found in the New Jersey Archives &# [sic] 5899-S, Trenton, N.J. Johannes is mentioned in Snell's History as one of the first settlers of Stillwater, New Jersey and he was a member of the Stillwater Reformed Church with his brother Henry. A letter passed down in the Michigan line of the family and given to Flo Kishpaugh by Mrs.. [sic] George C. Kishpaugh is as follows: "Having occasion to verify some family history. I came across some notes made by my sister Jenny, relative to the Kishpaughs, given her by Aunt Jane Waldren. Your grandfather, Jonas Kishpaugh, was born in LaFayette Twp., Sussex Co., New Jersey (newton [sic] being the County seat) January 31, 1796. His father was John Kishpaugh, and hits [sic] wife was Charity Withrow, daughter of a Presbyterian preacher and wife, both of Holland Dutch descent, and not living far from New York City. His sister was Mrs. Jane Snooks. His half-sister was Lizzie Kaltz, mother of John M. and Barbara Kaltz, who were twins. Two other half-sisters were Mary and Elizabeth. His half-brother Joseph went to New York State and had a big family. Your Grandmother, Rachel K., was the daughter of John & Nancy Onsted, born October 2, 1806 and married Jonas, November 1825. Rachel K., died April 30, 1869 and Jonas died February 24, 1873. They were buried in Tecumseh, Michigan. the [sic] Struble family comes through the Snook's line. Neither Kaltz had families, Barbara (a maid) & john [sic] (A bachelor). George K., was born June 19, 1830, in Sussex Co., N.J. and died in 1897 or 1896. he [sic] married 1. Mary Baker, January 1, 1855 and 2. Esther Baker, January 6, 1869. She died July 28, 1922. Fred K., was born October 25, 1870 and married 1. Rose Still, March 24, 1892.. [sic] She died, December 1928. he [sic] married 2. Elizabeth ------, December 22, 1939. She died December 21, 1945. Frank K., was born September 2, 1875 and died May 1, 1945. Charles k. [sic] was born December 21, 1880 and died April 19, 1919. Florence k. [sic] (Chatfiedl [sic]) was born April 8, 1878 and died August 1935. Joans [sic] K., was born January 31, 1796 and died February 1873. Rachel K., was born October 2, 1808 and died April 30, 1869." END
