Part of a tract of 1750 acres surveyed to John Jenkins as surveyed by Joseph Decow, Deputy to James Alexander, Surveyor General on 15 September 1749. John Jenkins sold to Thomas Cadwalader in 1750 and said John Cadwalader (?) and his wife by deed dated 12 April 1780 sold an undivided 1/2 of said tract to Lambert Cadwalader and said John Cadwalader died in Maryland in February 1786 and by his LWT recorded at Chestertown, Kent County devised his remaining undivided moeity (or half) to his 3 daughter: Ann now the wife of Robert Kimble; Elizabeth now the wife of Archibald McCall and Maria now the wife of Samuel Ringgold who by their deed dated 22 February 1798 as recorded at Trenton they conveyed their rights to Lambert Cadwalader who now sells. I give to my daughter Margret Freese my stove shovel and tongs and brass candlestick - 3. I give and bequeath to Elizabeth Deats - one cow and one bed and bedcloaths [sic] sufficient to dress it - on those conditions if it should so happen that she receives the cow and bed & beding [sic] from me in my life time it is to be a full consideration - and not intitled [sic] to either of them after my decease & one spring wheel & chest with her cloathing [sic] is now her own, 4.
