Date: Fri, 19 Feb 2016 10:26:52 -0500 From: Marfy Goodspeed I have Wilhelm s/o Johann and Eva Kuhl married to Eleanor Hoppock, although I've got no source for that. Must have picked it up somewhere. I see for Paul Kuhl's will that son Wilhelm was given a plantation in Sussex Co. Nothing in the will to identify Wilhelm's wife. Tunis Hoppock's will stated that his children were underage in 1772., so there's a reason to doubt that marriage. I also see that a William Kuhl bought the home farm in Amwell of 196 acres in 1826--must have been a grandson of Johann. The earliest Fauss I have in my records is Jacob, an immigrant born c.1740. So, altogether, I kind of doubt that your Ester Maria was of this family. But with German immigrants it can be so hard to tell.
