Jacob was born on August 5, 1736 in Hunterdon County, New Jersey and died
on November 12, 1815 in Hunterdon County.  He is buried in the Presbyterian
Church Yard, Hunterdon County.  Jacob married Sarah Hoppock in about 1762
in New Jersey.  Sarah was born on June 8, 1741 in Hunterdon County and died
on August 1, 1814 in Hunterdon County.  Sarah is buried in the Presbyterian
Church Yard.

Jacob inherited the old homestead.  It is said that he was married twice
but the second wife's name is unknown.

Received some info on this family from Susan Schmidt in June of 2005.

      County, died June 21, 1829 in Hunterdon County.
ii.   Anna, born February 22, 1767 in Amwell Township.
iii.  Anthony Tunis, born March 26, 1769 in Amwell Township.
iv.   Mary D., born February 28, 1772 in Amwell Township.
v.    Sarah, born April 22, 1775 in Amwell Township.
vi.   Jacob, born October 19, 1779 in Amwell Township.
vii.  John, born May 16, 1788 in Amwell Township.
