Note:

    Rebecca Jane Hart was engaged to marry Isaac Powell. Her parents were
    testing her resolve to see if she really wanted to marry this man. Her
    reply was " Happy here and shall be there and happy on the journey". Alas
    for her the journey was not too long as she died the same spring her
    child her son James M. Powell was born, in 1860. Her son was raised by
    the Hart family as her husband went off to the Civil War and died at
    Gettysburg. At Spangler's Spring on the battlefield he was killed by
    a sniper just as he raised his head from getting his last drink of water.

Note: Isaac Powell was killed in the American Civil War in a battle two
miles East of Atlanta, Georgia. He was serving on Company H, 13th Iowa,
3rd Brigade, 4th Division, 17th Army Corps, commanded by General F. P. Blair
on 22 July 1862.
