Auxiliary Police, died Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock at his home, 545 Green street, Berwick, after a brief illness heart trouble. A native of Beach Haven, Mr. Kishbaugh had spent most of his life in Berwick. He was aged 55 years, eight months and twenty days. He was a veteran of the first world war and was amember [sic] of the American legion. He was a member of Bower Memorial church. Surviving is his wife, Wilbur Smith, of Berwick R. D. 1, a nephew, and Mrs. Joseph Brown, of Berwick R. D., a niece, are the only other surviving near relatives. Funeral services will be held from the late home Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. Reed O. Steely will officiate and interment will be made in Rose Lawn cemetery. END transcription of Newspapers->Deaths->9.142ch-iv.jpg From The Morning Press, Bloomsburg, Pensylvania dated December 2, 1964: BEGIN Former Berwickian Dies at Age 68 Mrs. Clara Kishbaugh, 68, of 28 Jeanette Drive, Newton Square, Pa., died unexpectedly Monday morning at the home of Pauline and Charles Baker, ex-Berwick, residents where she had been employed for the past three years. Mrs. Kishbaugh had been injured in an auto accident two weeks ago and had been hospitalized for ten days for treatment of a fractured leg. She was apparently improving when stricken by a heart attack. Mrs. Kishbaugh was born in Plymouth on March 8, 1896 and was the daughter of the late Lawrence M. and Margaret Kendrick. She was a life-long resident of Berwick before moving to Newton Square three years ago. Her husband, the later [sic] Wilbur F. Kishbaugh, preceded her in death in 1944. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Berwick. Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Theodore Wall, Berwick, one brother, Frank Anderson, Potterstown and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at ten o'clock Thursday morning from the James L. Hinckley Funeral Home with Rev. Gladstone P. Cooley, pastor of First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment will be in Rose Lawn Cemetery. END
