From Patty Matthews June 4, 2005: BEGIN Alfred married SAVILLA (unknown) and they had two children; Amelia Elizabeth and William. Alfred ran a saloon in Roaring Brook, Lackawanna Co, and is enumerated as having lost a leg in the Civil War, which coincides with the 1890 Veterans Schedule. They returned to Sugarloaf/Butler Twp. area where Alfred died in 1906 and Savilla died in 1913. They are buried in Mt.
