His parents were my 2nd great-grandparents, Isaac and Hannah Lott Robbins of Hunterdon County, NJ. Isaac's will identified Green Robbins as a son. The Certificate of Death of William Green Robbins identified his parents as Isaac Robbins and Hannah Lott, both born at Bloomsbury, New Jersey. END PAGenWeb Archives ... Both are buried in the Bloomsbury Methodist Churchyard. They were born in New Jersey. Hannah was born on July 3, 1830. Based on census information, Isaac was born about 1830. However, his tombstone reads as follows: "Father Isaac Robbins d. 3/8/1896 age 82 years, 10 months" - which calculates to a birth date of May 8, 1813. I've asked a volunteer to make a photograph of the gravestone. Isaac and Hannah were married in Warren County on July 12, 1851. Their parents were not shown on the Marriage Record obtained from the New Jersey State Archives. Isaac was 23 and Hannah was 21 years of age. Isaac and Hannah had 10 children - one being my g grand-father, Edward L. Robbins (1852 - 1905). I know that "an" Isaac Robbins, (son of Daniel and Jane Robbins) was born 1828, and was baptised on October 29, 1876 by Rev. Egbert of the Green's Bridge Methodist Church in Phillipsburg - according to the collection of Beulah Gangaware. I know that "an" Isaac Robbins, age 22, is in the home of Daniel Robbins, age 55, in Bethlehem Township, Hunterdon County, in the 1850 Census. In the same census, Hannah B. Lott is with her parents (John L. Lott and Catherine Lott) in Bethlehem Township. Marshall, I just cannot nail down Isaac's parents or his siblings. I do hope you have some information or clues to help as I have been struggling with this for awhile. My grandparents were Charles & Nettie Ulmer Robbins. They had a great farm in Holland Township along the Delaware River. I had great fun there as a very young boy and had to be present at the Holland Presbyterian Church on Sunday mornings - before moving south. END
