From the Sussex Independent, Newton, New Jersey dated December 25, 1903: BEGIN Mrs. Harriet Kishpaugh, widow of Jonas Kishpaugh, and youngest daughter of Christopher Haggerty, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C. A. Kinney, Friday evening last. The deceased had been an invalid for some time and was in her seventy-eighth year. She was a native of Wantage, having been born at Lewisburg, but had resided most of her life at Frankfort Plains and Branchville. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. George Washer, of Michigan, and seven children, Lydia, wife of C. A. Kinney, and Belle, wife of Moses Ackerson, both of Lafayette; Maggie, wife of Samuel Ackerson of Bellville; Mary, wife of Levi Edsall of Pine Island; Libby, wife of Mr. Brown of Slate Hill, and two sons, John and Sharpe, of Newark. The funeral took place on Tuesday, conducted by Rev. F. G. Eland, assisted by Rev. William Burd. The interment was at Branchville.
